Track & Field Coaches Clinic of Texas
On January 5-6, 2018, the Track & Field Coaches Clinic of Texas enjoys its 14th season. Texas' #1 track & field coaches clinic delivers another outstanding lineup, including Olympians Amy Acuff and Trey Hardee who'll speak on high jump and coaching the multis respectively.
Coach Travis Geopfert from the University of Arkansas speaks on sprints and sprint hurdles. Coach Will Blackburn from the University of Houston speaks on shot and disc. Port Arthur Memorial's Darrell Granger speaks on relays. Greg and Helena Duplantis speak on pole vault / nutrition, Ryan Ponsonby speaks on distance, and TC Cedar Hill's Kenny Roseman speaks on long and triple jumps, while Orlando McDaniel of the North Texas Cheetahs TC speaks on training the youth athlete.
On Friday evening, join us as we recognize Athletes and Coaches of the Year as well as the 9th Annual Texas Track & Field Hall of Fame class, highlighted by Olympic Gold Medalist Michelle Carter. Joining the shot diva are Trey Hardee, Rose Brimmer, DeLoss Dodds, Barbara Jacket, June Villers and posthumous inductees Ted Banks, Boston Grant, L.B. Morris, and Dewey Wakefield.

Michelle Carter (the Shot Diva) will join her father Michael Carter as a member of the Texas Track & Field Hall of Fame when she's inducted January 5, 2018.
